A while back I sent all my backpacks to a shop in Wake Forest, North Carolina - The Lemon Tree. Last month I decided to make some more for my shop. I know, it has been a long time coming. But my production has been sporadic at best recently. This is the first of the new batch. I am so glad I started making them again...they are so fun :)
This time I tried something different with the straps. Instead of 2 separate straps, I made it into one long strap going through a loop at the top. This way there is some versatility in the way you wear it.
I just love the exterior fabric. It was given to me for a custom clutch a while back and she told me to keep the leftovers :) Didn't it turn out cute?
It is rather soft and pliable, so I made sure the interior was sturdier. I went with a solid red denim. Gotta love red!

I'm popping on over from the Creative Friday Features link party.
What a great bag! Red is the hot hot color, it seems!
cute! I loved wearing mini-backbacks back in the day.
Thanks for participating in the link party!
I LOVE this fabric. The red is gorgeous and the custom clutch is beautiful.
I am glad you are returning to the backpacks--you seemed to have making them before.
I LOVE backpacks. (And now I know where to come when I need another!)
Oooh...LOVE that fabric. Great choice for a cute backpack!
Ani and Duni took my thoughts. Beautiful, and I too am interested in this type of a back pack. Looking forward to them back in your shop so I can be a customer too!
