Buffy Swap Fun

I finished up another swap last week on Craftster. This time it was Buffy themed. My partner, Devilxcat, had recently moved, so I went with something for her new place.

The first thing I made was a set of pillows. Each pillow had an image of one of her fave characters, Willow. One pillow was Dark Willow and the other was Evil/Vamp Willow. Using black and red fit with the feel and are a couple of Devilxcat's top colors. I made them slip on/offable in case she preferred a different type of fluff.

The other thing I made was a set of placemats. I have been toying with an idea for some to go in my shop...so I just tweaked it a bit for the theme. Each mat has an applique of a place setting...but with weapons from the show. After all, who can remember which side the scythe goes, left or right? And the Urn of Osiris, should it be centered or to the side? Now she'll know :)

I also threw in a Spike comic book - after all, he is sexy in any form - good, evil, the big bad or even drawn. And there was a cute little sandbag snake I forgot to take a pic of...for those that do not know, they slithered out of Willow's mouth when she used the Urn to bring back Buffy. There was a bit of an ick factor involved, but the snake I gave was cute & purple :)
